Membership Rules

Grouphug is growing! There are only a few rules to becoming a member:

1. Care about big problems in the world. Grouphug’s shows are focused on big, sticky, icky issues. If you want to create the next Design Within Reach coffee table, Grouphug isn’t for you.

2. You must submit work to at least one Grouphug show and be accepted. We host an annual exhibit during NYC Design Week.

3. As a member, you have to contribute to the Grouphug community and write 3 blog posts per year. You choose the topics.

 

Perks

– Access to a global network of designers. You can make meaningful professional connections and have a sounding board to bounce ideas off of.

– A platform to exhibit your work and ideas. We host an annual gallery exhibit during NYC Design Week.

– Grouphug Annual Report (physical book + e-book)

– Opportunity to participate in Bookhug (a design book club). We pick a design book to read every month and discuss via interwebz.

– Satisfaction that you are joining a collective that will actively push you to design more and more and more.

– Group hugz (implied).

So you wanna join, huh? The first step to membership is exhibiting in a show. A call for submissions for our next show will open in Jan 2016.
